8:00 When the girls meant to get up to go to the Met. Carolyn knew last night that that was just not happening.
10:20 Carolyn finally gets up instead of falling back to sleep, Taylor and Annabel are still asleep.
10:40 Carolyn wakes up Taylor and Annabel. She is meeting her sister’s godmother
Elizabeth at 11:45 and wants to know if they are coming. Annabel says maybe. It depends. Carolyn finds this very helpful.
10:45 Carolyn checks blog and sees posts from one Will Kaback, or rather Mr.Kaback using his son’s blog account and is amused. Then she reads the comments aloud to Annabel and they laugh. Very amusing. They are definitely no longer switching advisers.
11:03 Carolyn realizes that Annabel’s shower sounds like the TARDIS and is happy.
11:04 It’s raining.
11:06 Annabel says “hmmm thoughts. Thinking. Thoughts. Thinking. Hmmmmm too early for thinking” when asked if she has any thoughts for Mr. Kaback. It’s not that early.
11:17 Carolyn realizes she had a weird dream about Blake last night.
11:18 They’re getting ready to go out so Carolyn has to stop typing everything.
12:00 After various struggles they meet Elizabeth for lunch
1:39 They attempt to get a subway to the Met and realize they have gone the wrong way
2:00 They get on the right subway
2:30 Taylor sights Annabel and Carolyn at the Met
2:45 Annabel and Carolyn go into the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met. Cool. Very creepy music.
3:30 Carolyn buys a journal in which she can right the 30-by-30 second updates Mr. Kaback has requested. It kind of matches her prom dress.
4:07 After standing outside in the POURING rain for probably 10 minutes Carolyn and Annabel are finally in a cab. After having two, seriously two, cabbies pull over, ask them where they’re going, and then drive away. The girls are SOAKING wet and pretty much look like they’d gone swimming in a lake. The lake of NYC. But they have animal crackers. So they will be fine.
4:17 and mint chocolate from the Guthrie.
4:18 Annabel sneezes.
4:51 Dear New York City, please stop crying on me. Love, Annabel.
6:34 Carolyn feels that she should do something with photos. And is sad that it’s so rainy because it pretty much sucks for photography. But she will hopefully make it work. Somehow.
6:38 Carolyn does the dishes.
6:42 Taylor wants to know where they should get Chinese food from. Carolyn doesn’t know. Annabel is in a different room skyping with her real friends + her boy toy.
6:43 Carolyn and Taylor sit on the couch and work on senior program stuff. Well, Carolyn has decided to upload the pictures she got today to see if any of them are any good at all. Disappointment likely.

6:51 Carolyn realizes she really doesn’t know how to work Aperture. At all.
6:55 Some decent photos
7:39 Start watching Easy A and order Chinese food.
7:41 Carolyn talks to basically her favorite person in the world (Harrison Bowers).
8:02 Annabel and Carolyn friend each other on skype.
8:58 Carolyn and Annabel buy tickets to go up to 86th floor of the Empire State building so Carolyn can take pictures.
9:37 Carolyn’s mom doesn’t answer the phone.
11:24 Netflix fails. The girls are sad.
11:25 Carolyn realizes it has been a totally fail day senior program wise because of the totally fail weather and hopes that Mr. Kaback won’t think their program is totally fail.
11:31 May go to bed soon…. Have a good one Mr. Kaback! Tomorrow will be 30-by-30 second communication. For at least a minute :)
