Day 5
6:30 Carolyn wakes up, goes back to sleep after awhile.
10:14 Carolyn wakes up and realizes the alarm she set didn’t go off. Awesome. No Empire State building for her. According to the website it gets super busy a bit before 11 especially on a sunny day after many rainy days…aka today.
10:30 Carolyn talks on the phone to Elizabeth
12:45ishCarolyn and Annabel head to Central Park
1ish Carolyn and Annabel find a nice place to sit. Annabel sketches. Carolyn talks photos. Carolyn has idea for photo project, and begins what she thinks of as “pieces of central park” (which will probably evolve into pieces of NYC and SF), meaning she takes pictures of pieces of people’s personality (what they’re doing, possessions, etc.) or something…
2ish Carolyn and Annabel move from their nice spot to walk around the park, Carolyn continues taking photos (sneak attack and sniper ones mostly)
2:30 ish Carolyn and Annabel happen upon a cool street show
3:20 ish Hannah Page finds Carolyn and Annabel. Fun times. Hannah joins them on their on going quest to find Annabel’s brother.
3:45ish they finally find Annabel’s brother and his girlfriend. Get some food at (but not from) Tavern on the Green
5:00 Carolyn leaves Central Park and catches a cab to the Met to meet Lara for the Alexander McQueen exhibit (once more with feeling. I may not have got to as many museums as planned, but I did make it to the Met three times haha). Also, it took FOREVER to get a cab but the cabbie I got was SUPER nice. Cheers.
5:40 Wait in line for 30 minutes
6:50 Finish going through exhibit
7:00 Cab back to the apartment. Fun times with Lara. She’s the best.
7:45ish everyone watches a great episode of Doctor Who (love David Tennant)
8:50ihs Lara has to leave. Sad day. But she and Carolyn are going to hang out this summer. Yay!
9:20ish actually I just don’t remember the different times of these things but basically we found a Thai restaurant to order food from after awhile and then did random stuff (I started writing this update) until the food arrives sometime after 10
9:58 It occurs to Carolyn how nice it would be to be in Hawaii…serenity factor 100% :)
10:02 I think is when the food came. Maybe. Not that it matters.
10:45 starts packing
11:07 Carolyn updates blog. And is now going to upload the pictures she took today so she can edit them on the plane.
11:09 Carolyn plays words with friends

11:11:04 it’s 11:11 make a wish!
11:11:26 Carolyn has made a wish
11:11:35 Carolyn is going to stop doing this now, upload some photos, and then probably go to bed.

12:09:16 Carolyn is really excited about some of the photos she took today, because they're kind of awesome :) and since this is in third person she can say that about her work.. :)
