Day 12
We hung about the house doing various things until 4:30 then we went to a
5:15 dinner at the Chez Panisse Café (Thomas works downstairs at the restaurant). It was all very good.
7:20 we left to go to the Berkeley Rep theater (which you’re probably familiar with, Mr. Kaback)
8:07 the show starts, we saw Let Me Down Easy, written and performed by Anna Devere Smith. She also did that movie Twilight about the LA Riots, we watched it in English class sophomore year. She interviews people and then acts out their responses to her questions. Let Me Down Easy was about death and cancer and dealing with death. It was really, really good.
9:50ish the show ended, we drove home
3:30ish I went to sleep…
It sounds like things are tapering a bit. How are everyone's spirits? Is everyone getting along?
