Day 13 (5/29)

Day 13
9:30 ughhasoihf. Tired. Early. We get up because we are going to meet the 10:40 ferry and go into the city, Carolyn and Victoria want to see the Carnaval parade in the Mission.
10:30 We miss the ferry. Variety of circumstances led to this. People are bummed out. Kimmer walks down to Tiburon before the rest because she wants to wander about. Carolyn is planning on joining her soon, and then aforementioned favorite person in the world of Carolyn’s (Harrison Bowers) is free to skype for a bit sooo she skypes with him. Yay! So it worked out quite well for Carolyn that they missed the ferry.
12:07 the rest of the crew walks down to the ferry
12:40 Ferry is late.
12:55 Girls on ferry.
1:30ish Kimmer and Annabel make their way to Chinatown, Carolyn and Victoria catch the underground BART to the Mission.
2:20ish Carolyn and Victoria get to the Mission, however, they have missed the parade. Which was too bad but oh well. They buy various kinds of delicious, spicy food from people selling it in the streets. Carolyn goes to take pictures and finds that her lens is jammed for some reason. Awesome.
3:30 They leave the mission and take the BART back to the city to meet Kimmer and Annabel.
4:05 They’ve meet up with Victoria’s friend Jenny and find Kimmer and Annabel after making a few stops along the way in various interesting shop places. Commence wandering through Chinatown.
5:05 Carolyn buys a realllly cool kite. It’s an octopus.
5:20 the ferry is late.
5:30 still late.
5:40 finally on the ferry. Thomas tells them that they’re having three people over for dinner.
6:30 Everyone madly starts cleaning up and cooking. Thomas and my mom went to the San Rafael farmer market this morning and got lots of fresh vegetables and stuff.
6:40 Carolyn realizes her camera lens has a lock on it, which is why it wasn't working, and feels silly. Good news is that it works...
7ish the guests get there and help us cook
10:20 they leave, we commence to cleaning the kitchen while dancing around and listening to music (it’s the best way to do it).
11 we finish and then watch Doctor Who :)
